The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has announced for the recruitment of Headmaster and Headmistress. The TPSC is set up in the year 1972 for working for the welfare of the people of the Tripura state by providing civil services to public. The commission is located at the old Assembly House of Tripura, at Akhaura Road, Agartala. As every Public service commission of the state, the TPSC is also an agency of the Tripura State. The State has authorized the commission to carry out the Examination for recruitment at entry level for public services. And as a part of its function, the TPSC has announced one such exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates.

Pay Scale:

Headmaster/ Headmistress - Rs.13,575- 37,000/- along with Grade Pay of Rs. 3700/- in the 4^th Pay Band
Assistant Headmaster/Assistant Headmistress - Rs.9,570- 30,000/- along with Grade Pay of Rs. 3500/- in the 3^rd Pay Band
Headmaster/ Headmistress - Rs.9,570- 30,000/ along with Grade Pay of Rs. 3500/- in the 3^rd Pay Band

Educational Qualification:

Headmaster/ Headmistress – The candidate must have master degree in any subject with minimum 45% marks and should have passed the B.T./ B.Ed
Assistant Headmaster/Assistant Headmistress and Headmaster/ Headmistress - The candidate must have master degree / honors degree in any subject with minimum 45% marks and should have passed the B.T./ B.Ed

Age Limit:

Headmaster/ Headmistress – The candidate should be of age between 18 to 42 years
Assistant Headmaster/Assistant Headmistress - The candidate should be of age between 18 to 40 years
Headmaster/ Headmistress - The candidate should be of age between 18 to 40 years

Application Fees:

Headmaster/ Headmistress – Rs. 200 for general and Rs. 150 for others.
Assistant Headmaster/Assistant Headmistress - Rs. 150 for general and Rs. 100 for others.
Headmaster/ Headmistress - Rs. 100 for general and Rs. 50 for others.
