Educational Qualification: For NIIST recruitment education qualification for the different posts should be as follows:

For Contract Researcher education qualification should be First class in M.Sc. / M. Tech Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Microbiology.

For Gr. III education qualification should be M.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ B.Tech Biotechnolgy.

For Gr. II education qualification should be M. Sc.

For Gr. I education qualification should be Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Computer Engineering.
