PMRDF – AICAT Download Hall Ticket / Admit Card for 2013 – pmrdfs.tiss.edu
The Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellows Scheme is having a mission to reduce poverty and bring transformation in the life of people. It is a leading step taken by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) in association with Tata Institute of Social Service. It provides different opportunities to different eligible people. As one of the Initiative to this an online test was held on 15th December 2013. Selected candidates filled the online forms along with an application fee of Rs. 750 and relaxation was provided to the SC and ST Candidates thereby keeping the fees as low as Rs. 250.
The candidates who fulfilled the
eligibility criteria of age and educational qualification and other desirable
criteria may have applied for the All India Competency Assessment Test (AICAT)
Exams which will be held on 28th December, 2013. The further process
of selecting the candidates will be carried out for the candidates who pass the
AICAT which is conducted to know the understanding, Orientation and Problem
Solving abilities. The last date for submission of application for AICAT was 17th
December 2013.
When the candidates are selected
after a written test and further interview, a candidate receives fellowship if
PMRDF for two years. The candidates will work with District Magistrates of
backward district to help them come up. The candidate with fellowship will get
to learn the degrees of M.Sc / M.Phil from the distance learning sessions
conducted by Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS). Also the fellow candidate
has to work for the public for a period of one year after the completion of two
years of fellowship. Thus the Ministry of Rural Development can fulfill two
goals in one go by providing services in a remote district to up bring them and
achieving the characteristics like leadership in the fellow candidates.
Thus to proceed for the
fellowship, admit cards for the AICAT Exams will be available shortly. To
download the Admit Card / Hall Ticket for AICAT Exams 2013 can be done in the
