Educational Qualification: For NIUM recruitment education qualification for the different posts should be as follows:
For Professor Education qualification should be Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or Statutory board/ Faculty/ Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
For Reader education qualification should be Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or Statutory board/ Faculty/ Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
For Lecturer education qualification should be Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or Statutory board/ Faculty/ Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
For Anesthetist education qualification should be MBBS with M.D in Anesthesia. Enrolment in the MCI Register.

Age Limit: NIUM recruitment, age of the candidates should be between 30 years to 50 years. There would be different age limits for the different posts. For more details read notification. NIUM recruitment, age relaxation is applicable for these 25 vacancies as per the Government Rules.
