Educational Qualification:
For IIT recruitment education qualification for the different posts should
be as follows:
For
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Junior Research Fellow (JRF) education
qualification should be M. SC in Biophysics/Biotechnology/Life
Science/Biochemistry with valid GATE/ NET score. Preferences will be given to
those who have special paper in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and having two
year experience with wet laboratory related to biomaterials/biophysics work
(for SRF) Or B. Tech (Chemical Engineering/Materials Science) with two year
experience (for SRF) in related wet laboratory OR M. Tech (Chemical/ Biomedical
Engineering/Materials Science/Biotechnology/Nanotechnology)
For
Research / Senior Project Assistant (SPA) education qualification should be
First class (or equivalent grade point) B. Tech in Biotechnology/Chemical
Engineering/ Materials Science & Engineering). OR B. Sc. (preferred) / B.A.
/B. Com/Diploma in Management or Computer Science (minimum 55% marks starting
from matriculation examination).
