For Junior Overman education qualification should be Valid Overmans certificate of Competency from DGMS, Gas Testing Certificate & First-Aid Certificate.

For Mining Sirdar education qualification should be Valid Overmans certificate of Competency from DGMS, Gas Testing Certificate & First-Aid Certificate.

For Deputy Surveyor education qualification should be Matriculate with Mines Survey Certificate of competency granted by DGMS for working in Coal Mines.
