Pay Scale: For JNU recruitment pay scale for the different posts will be as follows:

For Senior Laboratory Assistant (Stores) pay scale will be 5200-20200 - with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.

For Laboratory Assistant pay scale will be 5200-20200 – with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-.

For Technical Assistant pay scale will be 5200-20200+ Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-.

For Deputy Librarian pay scale will be 15600 – 39100 + AGP Rs. 8000/- .

For Office Attendant (MTS) pay scale will be 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/-.

For Personal Assistant pay scale will be 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-.

For Security Assistant pay scale will be 5200-20200 – with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-.

Educational Qualification: For JNU recruitment education qualification for the different posts should be as follows:

For Senior Laboratory Assistant (Stores) education qualification should be Matriculation or 10+2 with Science subjects.

For Laboratory Assistant education qualification should be XIIth 55% with Science + 2 years’ experience/B.Sc. 50%.

For Technical Assistant education qualification should be Graduate in Science with Knowledge of Computer.

For Deputy Librarian education qualification should be Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science.

For Office Attendant (MTS) education qualification should be Matriculation/ITI.

For Personal Assistant education qualification should be Sr Sec School Certificate with shorthand speed of 100 wpm.

For Security Assistant education qualification should be Matriculation or equivalent with basic knowledge of Computer and typing.
