The India
Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is all set to conduct the entrance exams
for the admission in PG Diploma Courses in Journalism, Advertising & Public
Relation. The exams are to be held on two different days namely 31st
May, 2014 and 1st June, 2014 for the candidates who have selected Journalism
(Hindi/English), Radio & TV Journalism, Advertising & Public Relations
and Odia Journalism respectively. As the exams are very near, the admit cards
will be published very soon by the IIMC on its official site.
The admission
will be based on the result of the entrance exam as well as the performance in
the interview which will be conducted on qualifying the entrance exam. The
admit cards for entrance exam will be made available from 24th may
2014.The entrance exams for students with different Journalism option will be
conducted at different date and time and the same will be as given under:
• Journalism (Hindi/English): 31st
May 14, Timings: 9 am to 11 am
• Radio & TV Journalism: 31st May
14, Timings: 12 noon to 2 pm
• Advertising and Public Relations:
31st May 14, Timings: 3 pm to 5 pm
• Odia Journalism: 01st June 14,
Timings: 9 am to 11 am
The candidates who want to download the
admit cards for the entrance examination 2014 conducted for the admission in PG
Diploma Courses in Journalism, Advertising & Public Relation by India
Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) can go through the step wise procedure
given below:

The home page will display the
blinking link for the “IIMC 201 Admit Card”
·
Click on this link
·
Provide few details required to
open the admit card such as your registration number / application number, your
date of birth etc
·
Now submit all the details and
you will be able to see your admit card
·
Your admit card can be
downloaded, saved and printed on a paper.
Keep in mind that you are mandatorily required to
carry your admit card with you otherwise you will be disqualified from
appearing in the exam. So keep in mind that the admit card is the most important
document required to attend the exam.
