The National
Hydroelectric Power Corporation has announced for the recruitment of Trainee
Engineers in various fields. There are vacancies for the posts like a trainee
engineer for civil engineers, electrical engineer and mechanical engineer.
There is a total vacancy of 180 posts. The National Hydroelectric Power
Corporation (NHPC) is engaged in producing electricity. The traditional base of
the corporation was to produce electricity with water that is the corporation
produced hydro power. After achieving the goals in Hydro power, it started
producing the electricity by different methods, namely Geothermal, wind
electricity and tidal electricity. Since 1975 the corporation has been
producing and supplying the electricity all over India. Here is a great opportunity
to work with the corporation with best potentials.
The candidates

following departments:
Civil: 25 posts
Electrical: 130 posts
Mechanical: 25 posts
Pay scale: The Pay scale will be Rs. 20,600 to Rs.
46,500 when the candidate is in the training period and the pay scale will be
Rs. 24,900 to Rs. 50,500 after the completion of Training period.
Educational
Qualification: The
candidate must have the degree of BE / B. Tech. in the respective field in which
the candidate wants to apply for the job with minimum 60% marks from the
recognized university and should have applied for the GATE Exams 2014.
Last date of
submission of online application: 21st January, 2014.
Age Limit: The candidate
should be of age less than 30 years as on 1st April, 2014

Selection Procedure:
The candidate will be selected on the basis of merit of the GATE Exams and then
the candidate will be called for the interview.
