A notification was issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards which invited public for the exam of recruitment of Scientist in B Posts. The Bureau of Indian Standards is a body framed by the Constitution of India. The work of Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) is to form and issue new standards, amend the existing standards when required and to see that the standards are complied with. To carry out all this functions, the BIS require a huge lot of staff. So one more function of the BIS is to recruit the staff wherever the vacancy is generated and to put the right person on right place.

As a government unit the BIS recruits the staff by undertaking the exams and giving equal chance of selection to all the eligible candidates. One of such recruitment is for the selection of candidate at the post of Scientist in group B. The notable dates related to the recruitment are as follows:

Date for publishing of Admit Card: 8^th January, 2014
Date of examination for recruitment: 19^th January, 2014
Tentative month of declaration of Result: January, 2014
Availability of Call letter for interview: February, 2014

So the candidates who have applied for the exams for recruitment of Scientist in Post B by the Bureau of Indian Standards can download the admit cards from the official site. Always carry the copy of Admit Card with you at the Exam hall. So to download and print your admit card follow the following steps given here under.

· Visit the site www.bis.org.in ==> The link for “BIS Admit Card 2013-14” will appear on the home page on 8^th January, 2014 as soon as it is declared ==> Click on the link “BIS Admit Card 2013-14” ==> Enter your Registration Number or any other details required for downloading the admit card ==> Your admit card will be displayed ==> Save and Print your Admit Card.

So download your admit card and have a print out of the same. These admit card will contain, your Seat number, center of exam, date of exams and many useful details. Carry the admit card with you at the exam hall for appearing in the exam. The exams are to be held on 19^th January, 2013 so Good luck to all candidates who are going to appear for the CCPE Exams.
