In the year of 1982 Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University was
started but before it was known as <b>Andhra
Pradesh Open University</b> and in the year of 1991 it was renamed as BRAOU.
Purpose of this university is to provide education to those students who are
doing job or other activities and due to that they cannot attempt regular
class. Students can get admission in this Open University in various courses.
